Paya Bay sits on a bluff on Roatan’s East End with two half-moon beaches below it, and you do not need to be a hotel guest to use them. The resort sells day passes and caps them at 30 visitors, so it stays quiet.
Paya Bay also keeps designated naturist zones, which makes it one of the few spots on the island set up for clothing optional beach time. The zones are separate from the rest of the property, so the day works either way.
Getting there takes planning. Camp Bay is at the far eastern end of the island, a long drive from West End or either cruise port, so treat this as a full day out rather than a stop between other things. Day pass pricing and inclusions are not published, so message reservations before you make the drive.
