Paya Bay Resort sits on a bluff on Roatan’s East End with nearly a mile of waterfront, four beaches and coves (Big Beach, Bliss Beach, Secret Cove and Buccaneer Landing) and 1.5 km of nature trails. Its 13 rooms come in four types, Cliff Side, Hill Top, Studio and Beach House, and every room has an oceanfront balcony. The restaurant sits on the bluff and the Bliss Bar serves tropical cocktails. Three zones set the clothing rules: swimwear in the public areas, clothing optional around Bliss Beach and the trails, and a private zone that is always naturist. The resort says it is not fully naturist.
