East End Dive Club runs the diving at Paya Bay Resort on Roatan’s East End, away from the busier West End sites. Small groups dive walls, coral gardens and canyons along the north-side reef. Excursions run about an hour by boat to Morat Wall and Pigeon Cay or Rocky Point for $120, with lunch at a local fishing cafe and a return through the mangrove channel. Fun dives cost $45 to $55 per tank depending on the number of dives, and gear rental is $10 a day. The club also teaches scuba courses and takes part in reef monitoring.
