Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport, RTB to airlines and MHRO to pilots, is Roatan’s only airport and sits on the main road just east of Coxen Hole. Ten airlines work the field, running roughly 16 destinations between them.
The US routes are the ones most visitors use: American flies Miami and Dallas Fort Worth, United flies Houston and Denver, and Delta flies Atlanta. Sun Country adds Minneapolis in winter. Canadian service is seasonal too, with Air Canada from Toronto and Montreal and WestJet adding Quebec City.
For getting around the region, CM Airlines and Aerolíneas Sosa handle the mainland and Guanaja, with San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, and La Ceiba the main links. TAG flies San Salvador and Guatemala City, and Tropic Air connects Belize City.
Inside you will find ATMs, a bar, a gift shop, information desks, and rental car counters, with parking out front. It is a small terminal, so plan around the food and shopping being limited rather than counting on them.
