Gene DeMarco first came to Roatan in 2001 on a diving trip and never quite left. Originally from Boston, he built his early career in hotel and property management across Boston and the Cayman Islands before making the move to Roatan permanent in 2006.
That year, he and Mike Carter launched Roatan Life Rentals, a property management company built to serve investors on the island. Gene took the lead on maintenance, construction, and contractor operations, which eventually led to a recognized home inspector credential on Roatan. That background gives him a practical eye for every property he touches.
He joined the Roatan Life Real Estate team as a Partner and Realtor, bringing the same direct, operational perspective to the buying and selling side. When he is not working, he is diving, traveling, or somewhere on the island with his island family.
